Cucina romana, quella vera!
The appetizers and the pasta were good, however we would've preferred the guanciale in the pasta to be cooked crispier. We didn’t really enjoyed the mains. The lamb and veal
cheeks were far from great and the side dishes very bland. Little sweet for dessert, ricotta with orange and chocolate was interesting.
We requested a recommendation for a local red wine, from an extensive list, and were served a badly corked bottle. The second bottle, a different wine, was borderline, I accepted it to avoid the awkwardness… we were probably served old bottles that they were wanting to get rid of.
We expected much more from a Michelin bib gourmand restaurant.
