SITE D'ESCALADE DE LA TORTUE

The Turtle climbing site is easily accessible: Approximately 500 metres in the woods will take you to the foot of the climbing paths. The practice is free and the channels relatively easy (up to 6 A). Four lanes are present at the foot of the Turtle (you climb its head!). They will give you access to higher and easier routes (you can also walk on foot). At the top, the view is magnificent (Saps du Velay, especially that of Saint-Julien-Chapteuil). Be careful, the tracks being in the woods, they are in the shade and often damp. For those who do not have the climbing, it is possible to take the Turtle tour, on a very pleasant forest path.
