Jean-Pierre Vidal is committed to local produce, sublimating regional dishes in gourmet dishes that subtly blend tradition and innovation, thanks to his know-how and the bold talent of his son, Aurélien, who brings a breath of fresh air to the table. As for desserts, Aurélie cooks up inspiring local products. The house is a Maître Restaurateur, Bib Gourmand, 2 toques at Gault & Millau and Toques d'Auvergne. The restaurant's flagship dish, pâté en croûte, has won several world championship medals.

Un restaurant à la campagne qui vaut le détour. Bons produits de saison mis en valeur par le chef, en ce moment, entre autres, le fin gras du Mezenc en 2 cuissons pour ceux qui apprécient la bonne viande. Une mention particulière pour la spécialité de la maison, la purée aux cèpes, un pur délice ! Quelques réticences sur les desserts, un peu trop volumineux à notre goût ! Le cadre est agréable, ambiance chalet à la montagne. Le prix des menus reste tout de même assez élevé pour ce resto qui n'est tout de même pas du niveau d'un étoilé.
