When you arrive on the island, don't hesitate to visit the tourist office to get a map of the island and get some information to better organize your activities. If necessary, they will tell you where to rent a vehicle (car, scooter, mountain bike or electric bike, it's up to you to choose!). The bicycle remains the greenest way to visit the island, but is not the most suitable to reach the highest points of Porto Santo (feasible by electric bicycle, but less tiring by scooter or car).
