At the end of the small street that goes to the side of the pharmacy, Manuel Marcelino, a taxi driver, and his wife, offer a dozen beautiful rooms for rent. Good welcome. Just a few steps from the centre in a quiet area, a nice surprise at the inhabitant's home to discover Madeira in a different way (with vehicle and driver, optional, if needed). Some comfort in the rooms, small but nice. Very clean. Simple breakfast, but very correct. Dinners served by reservation. Auxiliary heating. Reception in French. At that price, a good plan!

Extrêmement bien placé et très agréable ! On conseille les yeux fermés cet hôtel, tenu de façon très sympathique... et où l'on mange divinement !

The rooms are very quiet and well located. Very warm welcome on behalf of Manuel Marcelino and his wife and good advice of their part for ideas walks or hiking. Moreover, is not travel by their taxis. In short, a good place!

Excellent French hospitality. Good address to exchange with the buildings.

The employers' festival August 1st and 2nd is to see absolutely: local concerts, procession at the exit of the church on carpets fresh flowers on hundred metres.
