Westtour Madeira am 29.03.24 gemacht. Super organisiert. Unser Fahrer Fernando hat einen richtig guten Job gemacht. Würden es immer wieder buchen

Ich habe einen Tag vor meiner Wanderung Magen-Darm bekommen und das auch sofort mitgeteilt. Man fragte mich ob ich die Buchung ändern möchte, das war jedoch nicht möglich, da es mein letzter Tag war und ich tagsdrauf abgereist bin, das habe ich auch so geschrieben! In dem Fall habe ich auf Kulanz gehofft und das ich mein Geld wieder bekomme. Leider war dem nicht so, am Anfang schön freundlich und dann natürlich nicht mehr! Kann diesen Anbieter nicht empfehlen, bei Get you Guide geht man in solchen Fällen wesentlich kulanter um und akute Krankheiten sucht man sich nun mal nicht aus!

Die Antwort ist amüsant, wie oben bereits erwähnt habe ich geschrieben das eine Verschiebung nicht möglich ist da ich Abreise.
Und sollten Sie auf Alkohol anspielen, nein es war kein Alkohol, sondern ich vermute vielmehr auf unreines Eis oder Obst, denn ich habe einen robusten Magen! Und deweiteren bestätigen weitere Bewertungen ihren Umgang mit Kunden!

We took a short day trip to the Nuns Valley and absolutely loved our experience. The pick up was right nearby our stay, and the driver/ guide was so friendly and informative. The drive was wonderful and so was the spacious van that we were in.
Missed out on the Madeira West Tour but I would definitely come back for that.
All in all, a wonderful and memorable experience

The tour company situation in Madeira is pretty full on, who do you pick if you don’t want to get ripped off? ( on other hols elsewhere we’ve had fingers burned so we’re wary) - our hotel reception recommended Madeira Sunrise - we did 2 trips with them : 1/2 day Nuns Valley & Full Day Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo (Red Peak)- Madeira highest peak. Both trips were brilliant, Pico day (it’s fairly tough so don’t wear flip flops) was possibly top 3 best daytrips out I’ve ever had - guides/drivers on both trips were great, trips ran like clockwork, so enjoyable. If you go to Nuns Valley, try the chestnut buns in the cafe, - we’re keeping the dream alive as we bought some chestnut jam and honey and it’s getting used as cake toppings at home. We’ve booked to return to Funchal next year and will definitely 100% be going on 1 or 2 trips again with Sunrise. Looking forward to it already!!

Yesterday we did the Fanal Forest walk. What an excellent day. Sergio, our guide was entertaining and informative (in German and English to cater for the group of 11). He introduced us to the beautiful mature Fanal forest trees - when looking at these trees, some well over 1000 years old, remember that thry were here before humans! An opportunity to see some of what are the best examples on the island of a vegetation type which makes Madeira unique. We highly recommend this tour.

Tour Levada Nova
Die Tour wird im Prospekt diesea Anvieters als "easy" beschrieben.
Auf 2/3 der Stecke neben dem Wasserkanal sind nur 30cm Betonfläche zum Gehen. Daneben gings sehr oft am Hang hinunter. Ungesichert , Geländer seltenst. Anstrengend wegen der Konzentration über -1 1/2 Stdn . Schwindelfreiheit erforderlich!
Zum Tourablauf: Der Gide Pedro lief vorweg, für den schmalen Betonpfad mit ständiger Konzentration, nicht ins Wasser zu fallen oder in den Abgrund ab zu stürzen, viel zu schnell.
Seine Hinweis war: " Schauen Sie nach links ins Wasser, nur nach links".
Der Abschluss, eine Durchquerung eines Tunnels in absoluter Dunkelheit, ohne Licht . Links nicht sichtbares Wasser, daneben unwegsamer Felsboden
Wo war der Guide? Vorneweg draußen! Die Gruppe von 16 Leuten sich selbst überlassend
Diesen Anbiter kann man nicht empfehlen, eigendlich nur davon abraten

A short summary of our tour

- The original guide dropped us at a random hotel, because the bus was full.
- The “stand in” guide laughed and gossiped in Portugese all about it to the other passengers.
- Although the tour was presented as a full west tour with a lot of stops, we didn’t stopped at all those mentioned places.
- We didn’t get much information during the tour. In our experience, the guide was telling whole stories in Portugese (which we of course didn’t understand) and didn’t translate any of it in English.

Luckily the Maderian nature/ atmosphere was great ????

Conclusion: We don’t recommend the tour!

Un très bon moyen de visiter l'île. Nous avons demandé à l'hôtel et ils nous ont conseiller ce tour-opérateur. Ils sont même venus nous chercher et nous ramener chaque fois à l'hôtel. Nous avons fait quatre excursions avec eux et c'était très bien. Nous étions environ 14 personnes dans le van de différentes langues. Notre chauffeur-guide parlait très bien français et était très agréable et compétent, merci Duarte Barros. Je recommande ce tour.

Great tour of the West with excellent guide, Antonio (Banderas!), ax ex-pro footballer.
He took us to all the key sites and filled us in with the historical background, with charm and humour.

I booked a hike (pico do arieiro to pico ruivo) and a bus tour to the east. Both times everything went perfect and I was extremely happy with the guides. We made plenty of stops to take pictures, and they explained a lot about the flora, fauna and geology of the island.

Just be sure to use your brain when going to the mountains: The paths are good, but you still need warm clothes, good solid shoes and a rain jacket. It's not a walk in the park!

Très bien mais ça dépend des guides... super pour celui du tour de l'ouest. Beaucoup moins bien pour le tour de l'est : commentaires très limités et conduite à revoir... redescente en 1ère : pauvre moteur !!!

Great day out! The tour guide was kind, knowledgeable and even sometimes funny.
On each of these beautiful stops, we learned a lot about Madeira's history and its flora and fauna along the way. The views are not forgettable. Really recommend the trip.

We are feeling spoofed In case of any changes in a trip you cant cancel. They offer you whatever trip but client cant cancel or dissagrre. Company is not transparent.
