Art Nouveau-style hotel with well-equipped rooms offering the comfort of an old Portuguese boarding house.
This is the only Art Nouveau style hotel in Madeira. Its beautiful 1900s façade overlooks the city centre and its charming terrace, with rooftop pool, reveals an exceptional panorama of the ocean. A family property, then a club for English families, it wasn't until 1964 that the building became a hotel and its decoration hasn't changed much since then. With the passion of an antique dealer, the owners take care to keep the ancient charm of the Monte Carlo alive. All rooms are unique, well equipped and offer the comfort of an old Portuguese pension.

Terrasse surplombant la baie de Funchal très agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Piscine sur le toit avec vue magnifique. Chambre agréable. Le seul bémol concerne le petit déjeuner buffet qui est très copieux pour les premiers arrivés mais qui n'est pas correctement réapprovisionner par la suite donc levez-vous tôt !

Très bel hôtel, avec une terrasse magnifique. Bien situé dans le centre ville (un peu en hauteur) avec un petit parking bien pratique. La vue est superbe depuis la piscine. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais à volonté. La literie est bonne, la salle de bain agréable. L'hôtel dispose d'un salon pour se détendre avec des prix abordables. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.
