A palace with a magnificent British decor, offering 160 rooms, 3 swimming pools, tennis courts and 2 massage rooms.
With its magnificent garden and its very British decoration, this palace does not resemble the standards of international luxury. Founded in the 19th century by a Scotsman, the emblematic Reid's has kept a human size (160 rooms all the same). Three swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, a sauna, a very famous tea time, two massage rooms, and spa treatments for a rejuvenation cure. One looks with curiosity at the photos of celebrities who have passed through the place: Churchill, actors, princes, but also some dictators including Salazar and the Cuban Batista.

High tea au Reids
Allez déguster le High Tea ou une coupe de bulles au bar du Redis avec une vue a couper le souffle sur le port de Funchal. Jolies fresques mettant en scène les plus célèbres visiteurs de l'hôtel. Service plus que stylé du personnel !
