A modern hotel with some good assets in its pocket: its location, first of all, nestled on a cliffside above the praia Formosa (the only beach in the region); its large panoramic terraces allowing you to fully enjoy the breathtaking view; a spa and a large swimming pool . Meeting an environmental charter (water treatment, solar heating and biomass boiler), the building, with a rather conventional decoration, has 90 rooms and 35 bright junior suites.

Cet hôtel, actuellement côté 3*, en vaut bien une 4ème, si on le compare à nombre d'autres hôtels, notamment un peu plus à l'Est sur la promenade du Lido. Et en outre, il détient l'un des meilleurs emplacements sur la zone côtière, à mi-chemin entre la promenade du Lido et le village de Camara de Lobos (très facilement accessibles à pied l'un et l'autre depuis l'hôtel). Point faible tout de même : le niveau de bruit au restaurant. Point fort, la vue extraordinaire, depuis toutes les chambres.
