In spite of its appearance as a tourist restaurant, the Garden offers a delicate cuisine: camarão com caril, espada martini, bife de pimenta can be enjoyed on the Avenida do Mar, ideal for a lunch on the terrace, under the invigorating Atlantic sea spray. If you feel like it, eat an espetada (skewer) or duck, an always welcome choice served by a team in a bow tie. If the weather is not good, the charming and nicely decorated stone vaulted room will take over. Very good table!

Mon avis correspond trait pour trait à celui du Petit Futé : ne pas se laisser rebuter par l'aspect usine à touriste; il y a deux entrées, une sur le front de mer, une dans la rue Santa Maria ; peut-être la meilleur espetada que nous avons mangée sur l'île (préciser la cuisson), délicieux et TRES copieux arroz de peixe, fruits exotiques flambés et crêpes suzette excellents, cuisine généreuse et bien travaillée ; le tout à un tarif bien mesuré ; le service est efficace et attentif .
Animations (Fado par exemple) certains soirs . On y parle français, comme souvent maintenant à Funchal et sur les lieux touristiques .
