L’UNIVERSITÉ D’ÉTÉ

San Lorenzo del Escorial is the seat of the summer courses at the Complutense University of Madrid in July and August. The old hotel Felipe II was built in the university hall under the name Euroforum Felipe II. The teachers and lecturers are housed there. The success of the summer university lies in the choice of themes. They correspond to a more free and universal criterion, closer to the meaning of the word university. Participation in the courses of the best writers, scientists, politicians and personalities from all sides, allows for a debate about what is really concerned about society (the secretariat of the ÉTÉ summer courses.
