In La Venencia, we go back in time around a barrel, a glass of Jerez wine in hand.
La Venencia is an institution in Madrid and offers a real journey through time. Because nowadays there must not be many bars like this one in the country. Here, the best Jerez wines are drunk as aperitifs in a setting that has not changed for more than half a century, amidst the wine barrels and old casks of the capital. Beware, it is a regular bar and the reception can sometimes be a little cold for tourists passing by (the photos are moderately appreciated). So, be discreet and enjoy a place out of the ordinary!
