Legend has it that the owner of this bar, Perico Chicote, invented more than 100 cocktails for clients such as Hemingway, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly or Sinatra. The Museo Chicote has been an unmissable Madrid night spot on the Gran Via since 1931; as its name suggests, its clientele is mainly chic and glamorous, even jet-set. It is said that it is here that Pedro Almodovar, who is used to the place, met some of his favourite actresses... Starting at 11pm, a DJ raises the mood.
