BARCO

Cafconcert
4/5
1 review

A room located in the heart of Malasaña that generally fills up from 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning to turn into a club at a time when the other bars in the neighbourhood are starting to lower the curtain. In the first part of the evening, around 10pm, the BarCo welcomes rock and jazz groups, excellent flamenco shows (Sara Nieto's dance) and on Sundays, jam sessions. You can also enjoy excellent cocktails between thirty-year-olds from Malasaña. An excellent place to go with your eyes closed.

LA FÍDULA

Cafconcert

More accessible than other jazz clubs in the city, La Fídula has been working for 30 years and still attracts so many people. For example jazz, bossa, poetry readings, theatre plays, concerts of all kinds occur every day of the week. With two passages per night, not to bother! The drinks are overtaxed for shows, but nothing excessive. Located in a lively area, La Fídula is a good option to start the evening.

The Libertad 8 carries this story on its walls and permeates the atmosphere. When there is no concert, storytellers and poetry tellers occupy the stage and there are painting and photography exhibitions. A bar club that reflects Malasaña's soul.

GALILEI GALILEO

Cafconcert

Installed in an old cinema for more than three decades, Galilei Galileo is generally compared to the Café Gijón of the early 20th century. As soon as we have entered the interior, the atmosphere speaks for itself with its tables all facing the stage. It is a classic concert hall with uniformed waiters; you come here to listen to music over a drink (drinks are quite expensive). When you buy your ticket in advance, you have the option of booking one of the tables near the stage.
