The oldest tablao in the Spanish capital reopened under its new name in 2022. Founded in 1911, it offers quality shows behind its superb, typical façade tiled by Sevillian master Alfonso Romero Mesa in 1927, who also designed the ceramics for the Las Ventas bullring. Frequented by Ernest Hemingway and Ava Gardner in their day, it is now run by Jerez singer Antonio Chacón. The hour-long shows are a great way to start the evening.
