La Tienda Verde emerged in the 1950s, mainly as a map store and as a focus of the first hikers and mountaineers in search of the little information that was circulating at that time in the country. Later on, it was completing its specialization towards travel in general, with particular attention to the world of nature and active tourism, and everything that had to do with Madrid and its area of influence. In addition, they also sell useful objects for the hiker: compasses, pedometers, altimeters, etc.
