MALTA FUN TRAINS

This little train, a beautifully restored locomotive, will take you through Rabat, the surroundings of Mdina (the city is pedestrian, so the train can't reach it) as well as Mtarfa, a suburb of Rabat (the highest point in Malta with a superb panorama). From its starting point located next to the Domus Romana, this 8 km circuit will take you to see the church of Saint Paul and the catacombs of Saint Agatha and Saint Paul. Duration of the trip: 30 minutes. This is a good way to get a quick overview of Rabat and Mdina before starting the visits.
