Adorning the square of the parish church, this unique palace (not to be confused with Valletta) belonged originally to a noble Maltese family, the Parisio, who in 1798 helped the villagers in their struggle against the French. Later, a family of bankers, the Scicluna, took over the palace, restored it and replaced a beautiful garden. Finally, during World War II, the palace was leased to the RAF, British aviation. Opened today to visitors, it is interesting for its frescoes, paintings and Italian gardens. Don't miss these beautiful gardens, which can be visited alone.
