ST. GREGORY'S CHURCH

The oldest building of the city is this church, built in 1436 in a Renaissance style and has undergone several additions over time, including an interesting dome. In a corridor of the church were discovered the remains of about fifty bodies of people probably perished, victims of a Ottoman attack.
