St. Roch Chapel contains the secrets of a painful past: it was built on the ruins of a former cemetery of plague. In 1714, the building was erected by the wishes of the inhabitants of Saint-Didier in the hope that their faith would prevent this scourge from hitting the inhabitants of the village again. Without an architectural style or ostentatious ornamentation, it is the simplicity of this chapel and its history that gives it its full charm.
