SITE ARCHÉOLOGIQUE DE L'ANCIEN HÔTEL DE VILLE
Small site with remains from the centuries: two churches, private dwellings, workshops and wells.
This 8,000m2 site (Αρχαιολογικός Χώρος Παλαιού Δημαρχείου/Archaiologikos Choros Palaiou Dimarchiou, Old Town Hall Archaeological Site) is well laid out and well worth a stop on the way to the Archbishop's Palace. It houses remains from the 11th-16th centuries: two churches, dwellings, workshops and wells. It stands on the site of the former town hall and was uncovered in 2002 during the construction of a municipal services building.
