This information center (Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Ενημέρωσης Τροόδους/Kentro Perivallontikis Enimerosis Troodous, Troodos Visitor Center) is run by the Forestry Department. It houses a museum on the geology, fauna and flora of the national park (exhibitions and botanical garden). Information on hiking and mountain-biking trails, and guided tours by prior arrangement. Another visitors' center is at the old asbestos mine, near the village of Amiantos.
