This Orthodox icon-painting studio is located next to the village of Statos-Agios Fotios. It is run by Myrianthi Konstantinidou, the most renowned Cypriot artist in this field. She is "accredited" by the Church, as icons have a sacred character and can only be painted by pious people. Prices range from €300 to over €3,000. Not cheap, but this is one of the country's rare artisan workshops: most icons sold in Cyprus are imported from Greece or Italy, or painted in certain monasteries.
