This archaeological site (Kourion Stadium, Στάδιο Κουρίου/Stadiou Kouriou) is home to the only ancient stadium visible in Cyprus. It belonged to the city-state of Kourion and was rebuilt during the Roman period, in the 2ndcentury AD, to accommodate 6,000 spectators in an enclosure 229 m long and 24 m wide. The track stretches 187 m in length, with room for eight runners. Several events were held here (stadium race, pentathlon, chariot race, etc.) during games in honor of Apollo Hylates.

Very Basic monumenti that preserved its outer wall but inside it needslot of phantasy to think about chariot race and olympics games. Free of charge
