This center (Akrotiri Environmental Education Center) introduces visitors to the ecosystem of Limassol's salt lake. You'll learn that the shrimp eaten by the flamingos are not the same species as those found in the Larnaka salt lake. Or that these migratory birds are increasingly spending the whole year here. On the terrace, telescopic sights allow you to observe flamingos, pelicans and wild ducks.

Interesting place dedicated to fauna and flora of akrotiri. There is a terrace with Two Leica telescopes to do birdwatching on the Salt like. When we went on novembre there was no water so no birds
