TOCHNI HOUSES

The name of the village would come from the Greek word τέχνη/techni ("art") probably because of the reputation of its stone sculptors. For the renovation of the houses, local stones are used. Called "Tochni Stones", they are extracted from a nearby quarry and give a beautiful unity to this small village which spreads out on the slopes of two hills separated by a small river passing under the church Agion Konstantinos kai Eleni. Above it, you can have a coffee in an old arcade establishment and look down.
