PLAGE DE FINIKOUDES

This gray sand beach on the Larnaka seafront (Παραλία Φοινικούδες/Paralia Finikoudes) owes its name to the palm trees (finikoudes) that border it. It extends for 600 m between the fort (south) and the marina (north) of Larnaka. It is well organized and includes lifeguard stations, showers, cabins and rentals of sun beds and umbrellas. Along the beach, Athinon Street is the center of tourist activity with cafes, restaurants, hotels, a cab stand and the Intercity bus stop.
