Most beautiful camping spot with the lake and Rubicon trail access. Springtime flowers show up all over and is warm during the day!

Updated ——- beautiful park that is poorly managed. Now hearing another summer closure making it 3 summers closed. No concern for the customers. Total arrogance by those in charge. Need to make changes to whomever is in charge!!!!!!!

Very few parking spots so we frequently have to walk 2 miles down to the beach or by rubicon trail. They don’t allow people to be picked up and they ticket Good Samaritans who take people and their gear in the back of their trucks up the steep 2 mile hill. It’s a park road with a 15 mph speed limit. Really beautiful sand beach that the unfriendly rangers don’t allow most of us to easily visit.

This is a great place for spending time on beach, clean water and not crowded. There is a nice trail alongside the lake as well. Parking fee is $10.

Was a nice hiking spot along the lake and to see the lighthouse. Wish I would have been open to drive into. We wanted to hike then have lunch and swim on the beach.

The park was actually closed for repairs, but we walked down to the lake. It's a large campground that is very nice. It even has showers.

If you don't want to do the whole Rubicon trail, you could park here. It's a nice area, usually not crowded.

The trail was officially closed because of the snow, but we walked part of it anyway. It was peaceful and very very beautiful.

A disappointing experience coming here. We had to turn back from the entrance because apparently there isn't enough parking space available further ahead. There must be more info provided in websites or wherever. The parking was free for 15mins for us to walk a little distance ahead. But there was nothing really interesting for that short span.

很適合打卡拍照的好地方,冬天來可以看雪,但是冬天廁所不開放。

Lester Beach road closed this year starting 10/22 so we had to park at the main entrance and hike down to start the Rubicon trail and get to Lester Beach and Calawee Cove.
