Had a friendly meal here this evening. Service was efficient, not overwhelming, Jeremy was great. Drinks were kept full. Portions on meal were perfect. All served at correct temperature. Good value for midtown.
My girlfriend and I didn’t get to try the food because we got sat for 10-15 min without even getting asked about drinks which was a huge red flag on how the service might’ve been so we walked out. After looking at other Google reviews it’s validating knowing we’re not the only ones who experienced this terrible service. Will definitely avoid next time I’m in Sacramento.
Yikes! Hope u don’t have plans after. Only 2 of us, Got to the restaurant around 6:15ish, apps took about an hour to get to our table and the main course another hour. Waiter never checked in on us nor seemed to really care. Huge parties were being seated after us and getting all food before us and leaving before we even had our main courses. Really disappointing. Food was pretty good but nothing to be impressed by. Sad this was our experience because we really did want to love this place.
Literally the worst service ever left me and my pregnant girlfriend outside standing for an hour just to tell us we have to recheck in. Watched us stand there while continuing to seat parties that had just walked in. Never coming to this location again. If I could give no stars I would.
The food and service were great but the host claimed he texted and called when our table was ready and they “must not have worked”, and then he said he couldn’t remember what we looked like when we checked on our table. It honestly felt like a lie.
Right after that conversation, the host took us to this inside area next door, must have been a separate place at some point, and sat us at a high table in there. It smelled weird in there and was mostly empty, so we felt kind of relegated to that section. It filled up as the night went on and the atmosphere got better, but we definitely felt like an afterthought.
Then we ordered an appetizer and it took 20+ minutes. To the restaurant’s credit, the server was really nice and proactive and the manager even came and talked to us. I was kind of disappointed they didn’t comp the appetizer, though, it was on our bill.
Honestly I loved the food and the service, but the atmosphere and check-in experience left something to be desired. So I don’t know if I’d go back, especially for the price.
We ordered meatballs for starter, arugula, salad, combination, pizza, chipotle pasta.
The meatballs lack taste, the arugula salad was dry, had to ask for more dressing. There was nothing special about the pizza. The person next to us sent her pizza bag not sure what happened there. Our friends order the pasta they really liked it. They are repeat customers. It was our first time there.
I was really disgusted with the bathroom. It lacks cleanliness. Smelled like urine & floors were sticky. Gas stations have cleaner bathrooms. See photos.
Very good food. The portions for the food we ordered were pretty satisfying. The service was nice. No one went above and beyond for my group, but I was not upset by the service. The decor was very nice. I felt cozy and had plenty of heat from the above heater while dining outside.
This quaint little Italian joint gave me perfect date night vibes. Its a smaller place with a very intimate atmosphere and darker ambience. Went on a random Tuesday night and it was packed. 20 min wait time for a party of 3. Indoor and outdoor seating but it was freezing so we sat inside. I ordered the house special, my lady ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, and mom in law ordered the cheese steak. We all shared a caesar salad. Now I'm not one of those refined pallet foodies but I do enjoy a proper meal and consider myself an adventurous eater. And everything we ordered hit it out of the park. Everything obviously made fresh to order and it showed. No dry meats. Freshly made pasta. No overdue seafood. Kudos paasanos.
The pasta was a bit bland for my liking. Overall, I enjoyed my time there, and our server Katie was excellent! Also, I feel this place needs an upgrade in decor.
Food is great, pizza is delicious
Nice local beers on tap.
Kid friendly too!
Make sure to try their sangria it's really refreshing
Have a really good jalapeños pesto sauce if you want to use it to give a kick to your pasta

To give you an example of how awesome the staff was, I asked them to surprise me between 2 options and they read me right. Try This!
