For practical information and weather conditions (very changeable on the coast) refer to the website, always updated and very well done. Most: on the park page on the U.S. Parks web site, you can download in its French version a published document for the centenary of the Muir Woods national Monument in 2008. Very informative on the history of the park.

Agréable et reposant

A environ 45 mins en bus de Sausalito, le parc national de Muir Woods est vraiment un endroit calme et reposant. Impressionnant par ses séquoias géants. Vous pouvez vous contenter de faire la visite "facile", celle qui suit le chemin très bien balisé et praticable en fauteuil roulant ou avec une poussette. Sinon, une autre possibilité est de sortir du chemin principal pour emprunter un des sentiers, mais là il s'agit plus de trekking que de balade en famille.
Petit bémol, la boutique souvenir est très chère.
