This eco-friendly luxury consists of 89 rooms, bleached wooden cottages and suites, with pebbled floor showers.
This contemporary, eco-friendly luxury resort consists of 89 rooms, whitewashed wood cottages and suites, with vaulted ceilings, pebbled floor showers and a furnished outdoor patio that opens to all of Solage's secret gardens. A true oasis in the wine country, the hotel has a pool with deck, but also a spa with a Mud Bar that offers mud treatments, and a Michelin-starred restaurant, Solbar. The hotel and restaurant are not cheap, but if you can afford it, it's worth the experience.

Kind of a long walk from the downtown area but great place. Nice amenities, great food, friendly staff.

Good service and amenities. Rooms though clean and roomy are outdated with a weird layout. The shower in the room offers no privacy as it has a glass door. For the price tag, I expected much much better rooms. Would recommend staying anyplace else and booking a spa day here. You can use their heated jetted pools and sauna in that case, which are the only amenities I found 5 star worthy.

I have mixed feelings. The thing I really liked was the food at Solbar. But the hot spring pools are only open till 7pm. You cannot go in them in the evening which is when I normally like to go. At the other luxury spas guests can use the hot springs any time. Also there was no soap in the bathrooms by the reception. Lastly the Pilates class was full so we couldn’t sign up…. Next time I’ll skip staying there and maybe just eat at the restaurant.
