Popular, family-friendly winery with a shady garden in St. Helena offering gourmet produce for a quick picnic
Established in 1885, then dormant during Prohibition, this family-run winery is renowned in the region for its "dessert" wines, such as Muscat blended with brandy. But the main attraction of this popular winery is its large, shady garden and impressive range of gourmet products. Indeed, it's one of the only wineries to offer sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, as well as a hundred or so local and European cheeses by the slice. We love stopping here for a quick but relaxed picnic in the heart of its charming park.
