Open since 1998, this French-style bistro offers only the classics: marrow bones, quenelles, pig's feet, salted lentils, cassoulet, coq au vin... It must be said that the owner (and chef) Philippe Jeanty, who arrived in California at the end of the 1970s, was born in Epernay (in Champagne) where he learned the trade. It is him who, in 1977, opened the first good table in Yountville. And as he says himself, in his restaurant they serve good food that varies according to the seasons, to customers whose first names you quickly get to know.

We arrived just in time to order smoked salmon eggs Benedict with a side of Haricots Verts. We were tempted to share the crab souffle, but will save that for another visit. The coffee was wonderful! And the service, amazing.
