After the famous Bixby Creek Bridge, Point sur State Historical Park stretches over a long beach beat by the winds. Point Sur lighthouse stands alone in the upper part of its volcanic rock. Built in 1889 to prevent boats from the danger of the creek, place of numerous shipwrecks. Unfortunately, access is open to the public only during guided tours lasting 3 hours.

Opening time and information on LIGHTSTATION UPDATE

From April to October: Guided tour Saturday at 10am and 2pm, Sunday at 10am. In July and August extra Thursday visits at 10am. From November to March: visit the weekend at 10am and Wednesday at 1pm. Adult rate US$12, child US$5. No reservation possible, arrive well in advance because the arrived first will be the been useful first. Not appointment with the gantry of entrance of Point On Lightstation.
