This is Monterey's most charming destination. Far from the tourist madness of Cannery Row or Fisherman's Wharf, you'll discover an oasis of peace and quiet. This luxury bed and breakfast is a favorite with couples. Lost in a sea of greenery, this lovely house is surrounded by old trees under which to enjoy a sherry late into the night. Everything is done for your comfort and each of the ten rooms has its own character, and all have a fireplace. A stopover not to be missed, although a little expensive.

This is a beautiful B&B and is so beautifully run. The food is amazing! The Mayfield room was so cute and comfortable. My hubby and I didn’t want to leave. It was just the get away we needed.

I cannot say enough nice things about the Old Monterey Inn. The space is beautiful and serene, and the rooms are lovely while still feeling cozy. We loved having the delicious breakfast in our room next to the fireplace, and the wine and cheese happy hour was such a treat. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed The Old Monterey Inn so much! The owner and GM are wonderful and couldn’t be better hosts. Every morning we had the most delicious homemade breakfast and enjoyed the daily happy hour as well. Our room (Dovecotte) was so comfortable with a gorgeous fireplace and couch area that we enjoyed every morning and night. This hotel is in a great location just a short walk to downtown Monterey and amazing cafes/bakeries. We can’t wait to come back!

This Historical beauty is a hidden gem, our first time at an inn and Old Monterey Inn has set the bar very high. The service was above and beyond expectations. Breakfast in bed, tea/coffee/hot chocolate delivery to our door, complimentary wine and charcuterie board, the magical garden that made us feel like we were in a different world. To say the least, we fell madly in love and did not want to leave. This inn has added a wonderful memory to our very special and blissful anniversary weekend. We are looking forward to coming back for our next one. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and amazing services.
