Mount Tamalpais at 784 meters above sea level with 160 km of hiking trails offering a breathtaking 360° panorama.
It is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the area. For the best views of the San Francisco Bay Area, take the Panoramic Highway and then Ridgecrest Road, which will take you almost to the top of Mount Tamalpais, which rises to an altitude of 784 meters. Leave your vehicle in the paid parking lot. It's just a few minutes of easy climbing. From the top, the 360-degree view is breathtaking: you'll see all the way to San Jose and, on a clear day, to Sacramento. Otherwise, take advantage of the 100 miles of hiking trails.
