ROUTEBURN TRACK

When you come to Fiordland, don't hesitate to hike on this Great Walk, accessible from the Divide Shelter or from the Routeburn Shelter. You will need to book a shuttle for your return (several transport operators including tracknet). The view and the swim at Lake Mackenzie are worth the effort! Alternatives are possible to bypass the hassle of shuttles: you can go from The Divide to Conical Hill and back in one day, and another day hike from Routeburn Shelter to Harris Saddle Shelter.
