Same principle as the Wellington Fringe festival, but in Dunedin!

"Fringe" means "fringe", but it is also the periphery, the outer edge of something. When it has to do with society, it means the margin.

So it's quite voluntary if the numerous performances are all (and without exception) a bit crazy, even completely off the wall. The Fringe Festival is an opportunity to celebrate experimental art in all its forms, with artists from New Zealand and abroad.
