ROUTEBURN TRACK

With access to the Routeburn Track, Glenorchy is a true destination for hikers. The 33 km long Routeburn Track is one of the country's 11 Great Walks and offers great views of the surrounding mountains. The route passes through beautiful landscapes of the New Zealand Alps. In summer, it is imperative to book in advance and ask about the shuttle buses. Another option that allows you to walk in one day is a round trip hike to Conical Hill. You can do the other part during your visit to Fiordland.
