For all information on hiking trails, including the Routeburn Track, and the various accommodations and activities run by this DOC center. In addition to the Great Walks, the center's staff is excellent for day hikes around Queenstown such as the Ben Lomond Track (eleven kilometers round trip, about four hours), surely the best way to get a panoramic view of Lake Wakatipu.
