With a beautiful view of the Southern Alps, Matheson Café is a country setting located 3 miles west of the village. Here you can enjoy soups, sandwiches and other freshly made meals for breakfast and lunch. Chris and his team are happy to serve you on their beautiful terrace to enjoy the sun and the magnificent view of the Fox Glacier and if you are lucky the Aoraki. Not far from there, a 1h30 walk around the "mirror lake" Matheson awaits you.
