Along Ahuriri River is the Clay Cliffs site, natural cliffs (in sedimentary rocks and not clay, unlike the name) eroded by rain and wind, as a very sharp pinnacles. Ravines and canyons produced by erosion can be the subject of a pretty walk. As the land is private, it is not always accessible to the public.

Surprenant endroit très peu prisé des touriste. Vaut le détour (seulement 5$ par voiture), pour s'aventurer entre les pics

This private site (now accessible for donation of $ 5) is worth a stop if you go to the corner by car but do not make a detour to go there, you might be a little disappointed. The possibilities for explorations are quite limited, but the visit does not last very long.
