KAIKOURA WINE COMPANY

This young vineyard of 5 hectares (Pinot noir, Pinot gris, chardonnay and fragrance), planted in 1999, is the only country that is so close to the sea. Perched on a hill, it offers a view of the mountains and the ocean quite impressive. The underground cellar, where wine is aged at a constant temperature of 12 degrees, was dug in limestone; and, over time, stalactites have even formed. The terrace is pleasant for a tasting and lunch (selection of gourmet products) or simply for picnic.
