This tour takes us to Cape Kidnappers to observe the gannet colony (the largest land-based colony in the world).

It doesn't get much better than "classic Kiwi": no fancy 4x4 or tourist vehicle, here we sit on a trailer pulled by a 1949 Minneapolis-Moline tractor (obviously quite rare, so tractor fans beware). An authentic experience. The tour lasts around 4 hours, the setting is magnificent and time is divided between picnics, tractor rides, walks, swimming and birdwatching.
