Twenty-five minutes' drive south of Waitomo Village, and a little further off the beaten track, Down to Earth offers intimate tours in the forest and caves to observe glowworms (maximum 8 people per group, children over 12) or private tours (1 to 4 people, aged 10 and over), lasting a total of 3 hours, with 2 hours underground. Good physical condition is required, given the nature of the terrain (moderate difficulty). A unique experience!
