Specializing in grilled meats and barbecues, Jimmy Jack's is a popular waterfront hangout, both for its meats and for its retro Western vibe that's great for evening drinks (especially cocktails) with visitors and locals. Like its sister restaurant in Whangarei, they don't skimp on the portions in the kitchen. The quality-price ratio is reasonable considering the size of the plates. A small drawback at times: the success is such that there is quite a wait.

Le Jimmy Jack's sert de très bon ribs, la viande bien cuite se détache parfaitement des os et la sauce très bonne. Le seul bémol, j'ai demandé des curly fries a la place du coleslaw et elles étaient trop salés !
