Abbey Caves can be visited without a guide and with the necessary precautions. The walk is pleasant but you must be safe: good shoes, headlamp and waterproof clothes (you will have to walk in water up to your waist, sometimes swimming). Along Organ Cave, Ivy Cave and Middle Cave, you will discover an underground world of stalactites and glow worms. It is imperative that you check the weather forecast before you go, especially the upcoming rainfall, or you may find yourself trapped by the water.

Le site comprends 3 grottes à visiter. Attention c'est vraiment de la spéléologie, il faut escalader pour descendre dans les grottes. Le mieux est de trouver un spécialiste pour vos accompagner sur place. Comptez au moins 1h par grotte pour l'exploration, sinon les 3 grottes sont proches les unes des autres.
Prévoyez des chaussures antidérapantes, une combinaison pour aller dans l'eau et une lampe frontale car vous aurez besoin de vos 2 mains. Ne prenez rien qui craigne l'eau car pour certains passages vous pouvez être immergés très haut.
C'est vraiment magique d'explorer des cavernes non aménagées !
