CENTRE D'INFORMATION DU PARC DE LA PRESQU’ÎLE DE COURLANDE

The Curonian Spit National Park in Russia is a unique natural destination. Covering an area of 66.21 km², it extends over part of the Curonian Spit, an immense sandbar 98 km long. Created in 1987, the park offers a variety of landscapes, including beaches, sand dunes and wetlands. It is home to exceptional biodiversity, with over 290 species of terrestrial vertebrates and 889 species of vascular plants. Bird lovers will be delighted to discover the 262 species of birds present in the park, some of which nest and raise their young on site.
