This spit of land, caught between the sea and the lagoon, is bathed on one side by salt water and on the other by fresh water. At the birdwatching station nestled in this Curonian Spit, passionate ornithologists will explain to you the paths followed by the birds and the mechanisms by which they orient themselves. The village of Lesnoye has probably the most developed infrastructure, where you can rent bicycles and small boats. Near Morskoye there is a beautiful beach. In summer, the water temperature rises to 27°C, which is due to the shallow depth of the Curonian Gulf (4 m).
