Faulkner House. William Faulkner lived here between 1924 and 1926, where he began writing articles for the press before beginning to write novels with the publication of Monkey's Money and Mosquitoes. This building was built in 1840 by Jean Baptiste LaBranche on the site of a former French prison. It is now a bookstore.

Ruelle qui ne paie vraiment pas de mine, si ce n'est de par son histoire. On y passe très facilement sans se rendre compte de son histoire de pirates.
